Homrogd is located in northern Hungary , 35 kilometers northeast of the county seat of Miskolc . Neighboring communities are Alsóvadász 6 km, Kupa 6 km, Monaj 4 km and Tomor 9 km. The nearest town, Szikszó, is about 11 km from Homrogd.
