Harald Bergmann

Harald Bergmann (* 1963 in Celle ) is a German filmmaker . He has dealt intensively with the work of Friedrich Hölderlin in several cinema films .

Life

Harald Bergmann first studied philosophy and literature at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , then film at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts and at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles . He taught film design a . a. at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg , the Karlsruhe University of Art and Design , the Cologne Academy of Media Arts and the University of Lucerne .

In collaboration with the poet's widow, he has worked through the media legacy of Rolf Dieter Brinkmann (tapes, Super 8 films, material books and collages) in his cinema and DVD project Brinkmanns Zorn .

Most recently, with the participation of Dmitri Nabokov, the film The Butterfly Hunter was made - 37 index cards on Nabokov (D / CH 2012) on texts by Vladimir Nabokov from his autobiography Memory, i.e. and excerpts from the chapter Texture of Time from Nabokov's novel Ada or The Desire .

Bergmann lives and works in Berlin .
