Amigo Orhan

Amigo Orhan (civil: Orhan Erpek ; * 1936/1938) is a well-known Turkish soccer fan. He was the first whip in Turkish football . Between 1965 and 1970 he shaped the games of the then newly founded Eskişehirspor team and was the first to introduce choreographed cheers to the fan culture of Turkish football. In Turkey these people are called amigo . Other well-known amigos of Turkey are u. a. Sezgin Özcimbomlu or Alen Markaryan . Amigo Orhan is the only amigo who has ever received a transfer offer from another club. Erpek himself rejects the term amigo .

Amigo Orhan got the audience to intone Bir baba hindi and developed the battle cry for Eskişehirspor "Es Es Es, ki ki ki, Eski Eski Es". Since he was forbidden to enter the lawn, the club set up a separate area for Erpek in the open grandstand. In an interview in 2013, Erpek stated that his primary aim was to break the hegemony of Istanbul. When big business made its entrance and fanaticism increased, it returned to its own world.

Professionally, Erpek was an employee of the state hydraulic engineering office .
