Amine Noua (born February 7, 1997 in Lyon ) is a French basketball player .

career

Noua was born in Lyon, France, to an Algerian mother and a Moroccan father . He began his basketball club career at AL Venissieux Parilly Basket in the Lyon suburb of Vénissieux . Noua was then promoted in the youth division of the first division ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne . In addition to agility and athleticism, his strengths include a good throw from distance. Noua received his first brief appearances in the French premier league in the 2015/16 season when he won the championship title with ASVEL. He made his breakthrough in 2017/18 when he averaged 11 points and 4.7 rebounds in 32 main round games. To win the French championship title in the 2018/19 season, he contributed an average of 9.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per encounter.

National team

Noua took part with the French junior selection teams in the U16 European Championship 2013, the U17 World Cup 2014 and the U20 European Championships in 2016 and 2017. At the U17 World Cup in 2014, he was the fourth-best scorer of all participating players with 18.7 points per game. At the 2017 U20 European Championship, he won bronze with France.

In November 2017, he was appointed to the men's national team for the first time.
