The Amir Chachmagh Mosque ( Persian مسجد امیرچخماق Masjed e Amir Tschachmagh , IPA : [ mæsd͡ʒɛd ɛ æmiɾ t͡ʃæxmɑq ]), also known as the Dahuk Mosque ( Persian مسجد دهوک Masjed e Dahuk , IPA : [ mæsd͡ʒɛd ɛ dæhuc ]) is a historical mosque from the Timurid era in the Iranian city ​​of Yazd . It was built on the orders of Amir Jalal ed-Din Tschaghmagh Shami , governor of Yazd and general of the Shah Ruch . The mosque was completed in 1438. In terms of aesthetics, size and importance, it is considered to bean outstanding building in Yazdalongside the Friday Mosque .

The mosque is located south of the Amir Chachmagh complex . The east entrance of the mosque has inscriptions made of Moarragh ceramic tiles in the Thuluth script of Mohammad al-Hakim.

During the era of Fath Ali Shah , Hossein Attar added a part to Shabestan and restored some parts of the mosque.
