Amphibian Pheasantry

The amphibian biotope Fasanerie is an approx. 0.8 hectare biotope in the Fasanerie-Nord in Munich's Feldmoching-Hasenbergl district . It is part of the Munich green belt .

It is located between Pfarrer-Himmler-Straße, Am Blütenanger and Pappelallee. The city of Munich has a biotope there with four ponds and gravel areas for amphibians v. a. created for the threatened green toad. Around 40 to 60 toads come back there to spawn each year. Another similar biotope is located a little south on the Skabiosenplatz north of the Allacher Lohe .
