Amstertal
Amstertal is a desert in the Bremthal district of the Eppstein municipality .
The desolation of the court lay in the east of the Bremthaler district, between Neuburg and Burgfrieden, about 2 km northwest of Eppstein on the right side of the Daisbach . The following forms of name have been handed down:
- Ameselstail (around 1280–85)
- Amisindal (around 1300)
- Amßelntail (around 1470)
Amstertal belonged to the Eppstein office from the 12th century . It was judicially subordinate to the Hof Häusel regional court .
Landlord and landowner
Some ownership structures of Amstertal are documented in a document. Around 1280–85 the Lords of Eppstein owned a farm in Amstertal. Around 1470 they were still receiving interest from the fields and meadows there. In 1492 the forest near Amstertal was sold to the Landgraviate of Hesse .
