The Eicklingen office was a historical administrative area of ​​the Principality of Lüneburg and the Kingdom of Hanover .

history

The Eicklingen District Bailiwick, located on both sides of the Fuhse south-east of Celle , emerged from the former Flottwedel District Bailiwick. It was the old pertinence of the Welfenhaus and included the parishes of Müden, Bröckel and Nienhagen. After the Reformation, she was also given the management of the provost property of the Wienhausen monastery . In 1852 the district bailiwick was converted into an office. In 1859 the office was abolished and partly merged with the Amt Celle and partly with the Amt Meinersen . The office of the bailiff was the Amtshof in Eicklingen .
