Office Großalmerode

The office of Großalmerode was an administrative and judicial district of the Electorate of Hesse from 1817 to 1821 .

history

After the end of the Kingdom of Westphalia , the Landgraviate of Hessen-Kassel was re-established in 1813 as the Electorate of Hessen. The old administrative structure was restored and the Kassel-Neustadt office was rebuilt . In 1814 the town of Großalmerode, Epterode , Eschenstruth , Helsa , Oberlaussungen , Trubenhausen , Uengsterode and Wickenrode was spun off as a separate department of Großalmerode.

In 1821, the separation of jurisdiction from administration was introduced in Kurhessen . The office of Großalmerode was abolished. The administrative tasks for Eschenstruth, Helsa and Oberlaussungen were taken over by the Kassel district for the rest of the Witzenhausen district , the judicial tasks by the Großalmerode assistant office in the Witzenhausen judicial office . In 1832 the Großalmerode assistant office was upgraded to the Großalmerode judicial office .
