The office Niebüll was an office in the district of Südtondern in Schleswig-Holstein . It consisted of the two communities Deezbüll and Niebüll .

history

In 1889 the district of Niebüll in the Tondern district was formed from the two above-mentioned communities and part of the manor district of Herrschaftlicher Gotteskoog . This part was incorporated into Niebüll after the estate district was dissolved.

After the cession of the northern part of the district in 1920 as a result of the referendum provided for in the Versailles Treaty , Niebüll became a meeting of the district administration, as the district town of Tondern also went to Denmark. Niebüll was the largest municipality in the district, which was renamed the Südtondern district. Niebüll was not yet a town, but a rural community. The city was only raised in 1960.

In 1948 the district was dissolved and the two communities formed the Niebüll district. In 1950, Deezbüll was incorporated into Niebüll, the office was dissolved and Niebüll became an office-free municipality.
