Office Vellahn in the district of Ludwigslust

The nine municipalities of Banzin, Bennin , Brahlstorf , Camin , Dersenow , Kloddram, Melkof, Rodenwalde and Vellahn had been united in the administration of the nine municipalities in the Vellahn district in the former Ludwigslust district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , based in the municipality of the same name .

On June 13, 2004, the communities of Banzin, Bennin, Camin, Kloddram, Melkof and Rodenwalde were incorporated into the community of Vellahn.

The Vellahn office was dissolved on August 1, 2004: the communities Brahlstorf and Dersenow came to the Boizenburg-Land office , the Vellahn municipality was assigned to the Zarrentin office.
