Office of Justice
The Office of Justice (AJU) with its headquarters in Vaduz was created on February 1, 2013 in the Principality of Liechtenstein by amalgamating various offices, authorities and departments. It is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture .
The office is suspended
- the land registry (GB)
- the commercial register (HR, formerly public register , ÖR)
- the foundation supervisory authority (STIFA)
- the victim support center (OHS) and
- the Department of Justice
together.

Art 78 para. 2 of the Constitution of the Principality of Liechtenstein (LV) regulates that by law or by virtue of statutory authorization " certain transactions can be transferred to individual officials, official bodies or special commissions, subject to the right of appeal to the collegial government, for independent execution ".
The Office of Justice, created on February 1, 2013, is an office of the state administration. According to the government and administrative organization (formerly: Office Plan), the Office of Justice is subordinate to the Liechtenstein Government (Ministry of Justice and the supervision of the government itself).
The allocation of tasks, management and representation are regulated in more detail by the government in a government resolution.

According to Art. 8 StPV, the head of the Office of Justice is an employee with a managerial function within the meaning of Art. 21 Para. 3 StPG (head of the office with the title "Director" for international communications). Bernd Hammermann was head of the office until the spring of 2018, and since then it has been Graziella Moroccan Wachter.
Department of Justice
The Department of Justice of the Office of Justice focuses on

- Personal and company law ;
- Criminal law and criminal procedure law , mutual assistance in criminal matters, extradition and transit
- Execution right
- Estate and bankruptcy law;
- general procedural law;
- Mediation;
- Privacy.
In this context, the Justice Department is also responsible for drafting templates for laws and ordinances, reports and statements. In the area of international mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, the Office of Justice is the first point of contact (central office).
