Bernd Hammermann

Bernd Hammermann (also: Hammermann-Erne, birth name is Erne ; * on January 5, 1964 ; citizen of Triesen ) is a Liechtenstein lawyer and judge at the EFTA Court .

University education

Bernd Hammermann studied at the University of Freiburg in Freiburg im Üechtland ( Switzerland ) and graduated with the title lic. jur. from. In 1997 he received his doctorate in law , also from the University of Freiburg. From 2006 to 2007 he completed a post-graduate course at the University of Liechtenstein .

activity

Bernd Hammermann worked for the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1992 to 1993 . 1993 to 1995 as a corporate lawyer (in-house counsel) at Hilti in Schaan . From 1995 to 2005 he worked for the EFTA supervisory authority in Brussels , and from 2005 to 2007 again in Liechtenstein at Tecnotal AG in Schaan. From 2006 to 2009 he was a lecturer in the Bachelor and Master courses: “Business Information Systems” at the Liechtenstein University. From 2007 to 2013 he was the head of the Land and Public Register Office and later the Liechtenstein Commercial Register and from 2013 to 2018 he was the Head of the Office of Justice. Since April 9, 2018, he has succeeded Carl Baudenbacher as a judge at the EFTA Court in Luxembourg .
