Bailiff (Burgenland)
Amtmann is an official title for community employees in Burgenland in Austria .
According to Burgenland provincial law, community officials in service class III have the official title of “community official” and those in service classes IV to V “community chief”. The feminine form of these official titles is "Gemeindeamtfrau" or "Gemeindeoberamtfrau".
In Burgenland, the head of a municipal office is generally referred to as "Amtmann".
