Bruno Steiger

Bruno Steiger (born June 3, 1946 in Zurich ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Bruno Steiger completed an apprenticeship as a technical draftsman and then worked as an assistant draftsman in construction until 1986 . Since then he has lived in Zurich as a freelance writer and literary critic .

Bruno Steiger is the author of novels , short stories , essays and poems . He is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland . Steiger took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt in 1989 and 1997 .
