The District Court of Pirmasens is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate with its seat in Pirmasens . It belongs to the judicial district of Zweibrücken . The director of the local court is Sabine Schmidt-Wilhelm.

The regional court of Zweibrücken is superordinate . The competent higher regional court is the Palatinate higher regional court in Zweibrücken .

The district court is housed in an administrative complex at Bahnhofstrasse 22–26. The original court building from the 19th century, which was built by Ludwig von Stempel , is located at Bahnhofstraße 26 . It is connected to the modern main building and today's entrance at Bahnhofstrasse 24. In addition to the district court, these buildings also house the West Palatinate land surveying and land registry office.

The foreign chambers of the Kaiserslautern Labor Court at Bahnhofstrasse 22, a late classicist former residential building that was built around 1880 and is a listed building, are connected to the district court .
