Amy Choong
Amy Choong (* around 1930 , also known as Choong Siew Choo ) is a former badminton player from Malaysia . She is the daughter of Choong Eng Kim and the cousin of David and Eddy Choong . Choong Ewe Jin was her brother. In 1955 she became the wife of Johnny Heah .
Career
In 1949 Amy Choong won her first two titles at the Malaysian Open , where she was successful in both mixed and doubles. In 1951 she won in these disciplines at the Irish Open . In 1952 and 1955 she won the Malaysian Open again , in the first year in women's doubles, in the latter in mixed.
