Amy Westcott

Amy Westcott (* in Philadelphia ) is an American costume designer .

Life

Westcott attended Syracuse University , where she earned a bachelor's degree in fashion design . Her first work as a costume designer was the independent horror film Campfire Stories (2001). Before that she worked as an assistant at James Mangold's Cop Land (1997). She then worked twice with director Dylan Kidd on the films Sex for Beginners (2002) and PS - Love at the Beginning (2004).

For Black Swan (2010) Westcott was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award as well as a Satellite Award in the category Best Costume Design .
