Amyklas (son of Amphion)
Amyklas ( Greek Ἀμύκλας ) is the son of Amphion and Niobe in Greek mythology . Leto had been mocked by Niobe, who had fourteen children, saying that she only had two children. Leto then had all of Niobe's children killed by Artemis and Apollon . Only Meliboia and Amyklas, who had both offered a prayer to the Leto, were spared. According to other accounts, however, all Niobe children - including Amyklas - were killed.
