Meliboia (Niobide)
Meliboia ( Greek Μελίβοια ) is in Greek mythology one of the Niobids, daughter of Niobe and Amphion .
Because of the iniquity of Niobe, all of their children are killed by Apollon and Artemis , only Meliboia and her brother Amyklas escape the annihilation at Leto's intercession . They get to Argos , where they build a temple out of gratitude to Leto. When her siblings were killed, Meliboia turned pale with shock ( χλωρή ), which is why she is called Chloris from then on .
