Ana María Desivici

Ana María Desivici , full name Ana María Desivici Nekeforchuk , (born November 8, 1955 ) is a former Uruguayan athlete .

Career

The 1.77 meter tall Desivici, which is also spelled Ana Desevici , started in the long jump and pentathlon disciplines. At the South American Athletics Championships in 1971 , she jumped 5.72 meters and was thus vice South American champion behind Silvia Kinzel . The following year she won bronze in the long jump at the Junior South American Championships in 1972 . In 1975 she took part with the Uruguayan team in the Pan American Games in Mexico . In the long jump she achieved a width of 5.78 meters and thus took 7th place . She finished the pentathlon in 8th place with 3812 points. The performance in the pentathlon was her personal career lead. She was also a member of the Uruguayan Olympic squad at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal . There she was 19th in the pentathlon.
