Ana Torroja (born December 28, 1959 in Madrid ) is a Spanish pop singer .

Career

Torroja is one of the most famous voices in Spanish pop music . With her group Mecano , she performed between 1982 and 1998 together with José María Cano and Nacho Cano . The group released nine albums.

As a soloist , Ana Torroja has produced several studio albums in recent years. In spring 2008 she can also be heard on the new Schiller album Sehnsucht Christopher von Deylens as a guest singer with the title Porque te vas .

Their fourth Spanish studio album counted on the production by the Venezuelan Andrés Levin, who had already produced their second album.
