Ana Wagener (born 1962 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ) is a Spanish theater, TV and film actor .

Life

Her career began in the theater with performances such as Los domingos matan más hombres que las bombas and Luces de bohemia ; later she became known as a television commissioner. She had her first major film success in 2000 with El bola in 2005 with Torremolinos 73 .

In 2006 she won the first "AISGE Award" of the Iberoamerican Short Film Competition and the "Silver Biznaga" of the Malaga Film Festival in the category "Best Actress" in the film "Morir, dormir, soñar" (2005) .

In 2012, Wagener won Spain's most important film award, Goya, as best supporting actress for her supporting role in Benito Zambrano's war drama La voz dormida .
