Johann Kampferbeke (* 1579 or 1580 ; † July 27, 1639 in Lübeck ) was a mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. He was married to Christiane Höling, who died in 1660; she was the daughter of councilor Diedrich Höling .

Life

Kampferbeke came from a Lübeck council family, his father Johann Kampferbeke was Ratmann from 1562 until his death in 1595. On December 20, 1625 he was elected to the city ​​council and on December 22, 1634 he was elected mayor and was as such from 1636-39 treasurer as well Head of the St. Petrikirche .

Together with the Syndic Dr. Otto Tanck he represented the city in 1631 as envoy at the convent of the imperial estates in Leipzig , where the measures against King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden were discussed.
