The Anadolu Group (Turkish: Anadolu Grubu , international Anadolu Group ) is a Turkish conglomerate with headquarters in Istanbul .

history

The company was founded in 1950 by Kamil Yazıcı and İzzet Özilhan, whose families still own almost half of the shares in the group holding, the rest is in free float .

Tuncay Özilhan, the son of İzzet Özilhan, has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since May 2007.

structure

The group is managed by the AG Anadolu Grubu Holding AS, formerly Yazicilar Holding AS. This is the main shareholder of Anadolu Endustri Holding AS and its subsidiaries, which form the Anadolu Group. The group includes around 80 companies (6 of which are listed on Borsa Istanbul ), including:

  • Automotive industry (including Anadolu Isuzu , Çelik Motor, Anadolu Motor, Anadolu Landini and participation in other joint ventures such as TOGG ),
  • Beverage production ( Anadolu Efes , Coca-Cola İçecek),
  • Trade ( Migros Türk ),
  • Agriculture (Anadolu Etap),
  • Stationery (Adel Kalemcilik)
  • Fast catering (Anadolu Restoran İşletmeleri)
  • Energy (Anadolu Kafkasya Enerji Yatırımları, Aslancık Elektrik Üretim, AES Elektrik Enerjisi Toptan Satış)
  • Real estate (AND Gayrimenkul)

The group of companies (as of 2019) has 66 production facilities, employs around 80,000 people and achieved sales of 42.2 billion Turkish Lira in the 2018 financial year .
