TOGG (Turkish: Türkiye'nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu A.Ş .; English: Automobile Initiativ Group Inc.) is a Turkish automotive company that was founded as a joint venture in 2018 . The Anadolu Group , BMC , Kök Group , Turkcell and Zorlu Holding are major shareholders under the umbrella of TOBB . Each company holds 19% and TOBB 5% of the shares.

In the 2010s, Turkish President Erdoğan called for an initiative to produce an automobile from Turkish production. In 2017 Erdoğan announced the founding of TOGG and its participants.

On December 27, 2019, the first introduction to Gebze was carried out together with the establishment of IT Valley (Turkish: Bilişim Vadisi). President Erdoğan introduced two models, an SUV and a sedan, during the event. The first two prototypes were produced by Pininfarina in Italy . The automobile plant will be located in Gemlik , Bursa .

TOGG is planning battery production entirely on site and a Europe-wide expansion. The laying of the foundation stone of the electric car plant in the province of Bursa in western Turkey was celebrated with President Erdoğan . The project management was assigned to Gürcan Karakas, who was formerly a manager at Bosch .
