Anait Karpova

Anait Karpowa ( Russian Анаит Карпова , Anait Karpova , born November 20, 1975 in Moscow ) is a Russian pianist.

Natalia Saz's great-granddaughter studied from 1982 to 1994 at the Gnessin Music Academy in Moscow with Anna Arzamanowa . She continued her studies with Viktor Karpowitsch Merschanow at the Moscow State Conservatory . From 1999 to 2002 he completed postgraduate studies in piano and chamber music at the Brussels Conservatory with Viviane Spanoghe and Daniel Blumenthal . From 2002 to 2005 she participated in the program The International Certificate for piano artists of the École Normale de Musique "Alfred Cortot" in Paris under the direction of Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri and Philippe Entremont . Since 2002 she has been the solo pianist of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.

Karpova gave concerts in numerous cities in Russia, as well as in Belgium, Holland, Greece, Italy, France and the USA. As a piano accompanist, she worked with the singers Elena Okolysheva , Laura Claycomb and Irina Samoilova . In 2009 she recorded a CD with piano works by the composer Leonid Alexejewitsch Polowinkin . She won u. a. the Grand Prize and Special Prizes at the Médoc Aquitaine Competition (1999), the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in Brest (2004) and the Grand Prize at the Rachmaninoff Competition in Catania 2005.
