Analbuminemia

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Analbuminämie refers to a rare form of anemia (usually as hypoalbuminemia ), in which the albumin proteins are missing in the blood plasma altogether.

Causes and symptoms

Analbumin anemia is a hereditary , autosomal recessive inherited dysproteinemia . The patients show transport disorders for various hormones , enzymes and calcium and only a slight tendency to edema .

consequences

The reduction in albumin is largely compensated for by an increase in globulins , a reduction in pressure in the capillaries and via renal mechanisms.
