Jentsch started curling in 2004. She has been part of her sister Daniela Jentsch's team since 2012, initially as lead, later as third and currently as second. She made her international debut in 2012 on the World Curling Tour at the International ZO Women's Curling Tournament in Wetzikon . Their first national tournament was the 2015 World Cup in Sapporo . Since 2015, she has participated in both the World Championship and the European Championship every year. Her greatest success so far was winning the bronze medal at the 2018 European Championships in Tallinn . On the World Curling Tour she won the Riga International Challenge 2016 with the Jentsch team.
Private life
Analena Jentsch comes from a curler family. Her father Roland Jentsch became European champion in 1991 as the skip of the German team and her sister Daniela Jentsch plays with her on the same team. Jentsch is a sports soldier in the Bundeswehr .
