Anastassija Petryk

Anastassija Ihorivna "Nastja" Petryk ( Ukrainian Анастасія Ігорівна "Настя" Петрик ; born May 4, 2002 in Nerubajske , Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song Nebo , making it the first Ukrainian participant to win the competition.

Life

Anastassija Petryk appeared in the second season of “Got Talent” in Ukraine in 2009, at the age of 7, with her older sister Viktoria “Vika” Petryk, who represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and took second place. Although Anastassija only supported her sister backstage, the judges invited her to sing a song with her sister Victoria. After singing I Love Rock 'n' Roll , they were invited to take part in the show and made it to the semifinals. In the same year Anastassija also won first prize at the Moloda Halychyna and second prize at the Black Sea Games 2009 .

In 2010 Anastassija won first prize in the younger age group (8 to 12 years) at the international popular music competition “New Wave Junior 2010” in Artek . Her sister Viktoria won in the older age group.

Anastassija Petryk won the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song Nebo with 138 points (35 points before 2nd place).
