Anatoli Wassiljewitsch Solowjow ( Russian Анатолий Васильевич Соловьёв , scientific transliteration Anatolij Vasil'evič Solov'ëv ; born March 14, 1922 in Dankow , Ryazan Governorate ; † January 6, 2000 in Moscow ) was a Russian theater actor and cinema actor

Life

Already in 1939, at the age of 17, Solovyov had his first film appearance in the comedy The Girl with Character ( Девушка с характером ). This was followed by another appearance in the film Suvorov ( Суворов ) before Solovyov was called up as a soldier in the Great Patriotic War . After the end of the war, Solovyov attended the Russian Academy of Theater Arts from which he graduated in 1949. He then played in the Moscow Drama Theater MN Yermolowa ( Московский драматический театр им. М. Н. Ермоловой ) until 1956 . From 1959 to 1993 he was a member of the Theater Studio of Cinema Actors ( Театра-студии киноактёра ) in Moscow. At the end of the 1950s, Solovyov's breakthrough as a cinema actor began. In his film roles he often played the role of the hero. Solovyov became popular mainly through his role of the sailor Grachev in the film TschP. Tschreswytschainoje proisschestwije (ЧП. Чрезвычайное происшествие) from 1958. In 1968 he played a leading role at DEFA in Konrad Wolf's I Was Nineteen . At the beginning of the 1980s Solovyov was only seen in a few movies.

Anatoly Solovyov died in Moscow in 2000. His urn is in a columbarium in the Wagankowoer cemetery .

Awards

Solovyov received the Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( Заслуженный артист РСФСР ) award in 1976 .
