Anatomography is an interactive website that can be used to create anatomical schematic representations and animations of the human body . The site is maintained by the Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS), a non-commercial research institute at the University of Tokyo . Works that are made with the help of Anatomography and the 3D polygon data (BodyParts3D), which are used by the server, are freely available. They are available under the Attribution, Share Alike License .

Representations that are generated with Anatomography and the entirety of the polygon data from BodyParts3D are under the Creative Commons license , in the hope of expanding and democratizing general education about human anatomy.

The BodyParts3D / Anatomography project was funded from 2007 to 2010 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology (Japan) . Since 2011 it has been managed by the JST ( Japan Science and Technology Agency ). financed.
