Anchises (father of Echepolos)
According to Homer, Anchises ( ancient Greek Ἀγχίσης ) from Sikyon is the father of Echepolos in Greek mythology .
According to the scholiast of the so-called Townley Homer , who refers to Akusilaos of Argos , he was the grandson of Cleonymos . However, according to Pherecytes of Athens, he was the son of Pelops , so that Anchises would have been his great-grandson. Anchises is missing from the list of the Sicyon kings of Eusebius of Caesarea in the 1st book of his chronicle .
