Anchor is a hardcore punk band from Gothenburg , founded in 2007 , with musicians from Sweden and Norway .
history
The group is under contract with the German label Let It Burn Records and released their album Recovery through this record company. Vegan Records distributes the band's releases in South America . In February and March 2013, the group toured twelve concerts in Brazil , Chile and Argentina . The group is accompanied by Mil Caras (complete tour), Cenizas (Chile only), Mártir (Chile only), Ratos de Porão (Brazil only), Still Strong (Brazil only) and En Nuestros Corazones (Argentina only). The group has already played several times in Germany and in 2011 played at the Belgian Ieperfest .
So far, a mini CD, a split CD, an EP and four albums have been released by the group. The group's texts mostly deal with animal welfare , veganism and the straight-edge lifestyle.
