Different Lind

Anders Lind (born December 14, 1998 ) is a Danish table tennis player . He is an attacking player and uses the Ovtcharov True Carbon blade, while he uses a Bluestorm Z1 for the forehand and backhand. He is Danish champion.

Career

The Dane began playing table tennis at primary school age. His first club was Vedbaek. He made his first international appearances in 2010, but did not advance to the top of the world until 2016. In 2017 he took part in a European and World Cup for the first time. At the World Cup, however, he was eliminated in qualifying, while he came 17th with the team. In 2018 he won the Croatia Open in the U21 competition. He has been playing at TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau since the 2018/19 season . The previous season he was active at FSV Mainz 05 , coming from TV Leiselheim . In 2019 he played at the European Games, where he was eliminated in the individual round of 32, but came in fourth with the team. The game for 3rd place was lost to Portugal . At the European Championships he reached the round of 16 with the team, the Portugal Open ended for him with a defeat in the semi-finals.
