Anders Petersen (born October 10, 1959 in Elmshorn ) is a German graphic and object artist.

life and work

Anders Petersen studied fine arts from 1986 to 1991 at the Muthesius University in Kiel with Fritz Bauer and Ekkehard Thieme. This was followed in 1992 by a guest study at Myndlista- og handíðaskóli in Reykjavík, Iceland in the mixed media area. He lives and works as a freelance artist in Elmshorn and Hamburg. As an artist, Anders Petersen follows an art concept that contains painterly, sculptural and graphic elements at the same time and thus breaks the narrowness of all classical genres. In 2017, Anders Petersen was elected chairman of the BBK Schleswig-Holstein .
