András Zsinka

András Zsinka (born October 19, 1947 in Székesfehérvár ) is a former Hungarian middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .

In 1972 he finished fourth at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Grenoble and was eliminated from the preliminary stages at the Olympic Games in Munich .

At the Indoor European Championships in 1974 in Gothenburg he won silver, at the Indoor European Championships in 1976 in Munich he was again fourth.

He set his personal best of 1: 47.5 minutes on September 5, 1976 in Budapest .

In 1970, 1974 and 1976 he became Hungarian champion. In the hall he won the 800 m title five times from 1974 to 1978 and the 1500 m title from 1974 to 1976 .
