André Krüger (football player)

André Krüger (born February 24, 1979 ) is a former German football player .

career

Krüger played for the Berlin Adler youth team, and in 1998 he became European champion with the German junior national team. He then played for the men's team of the Adler in the top German division GFL . In 2004 he was in the service of the Dresden Monarchs and then from 2005 to May 2009 with the Braunschweig Lions . With the Braunschweig team, the 1.85 meter tall linebacker  won the German championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. At the end of May 2009 he was removed from Braunschweig's list because of a doping offense, the court of the American Football Association Germany issued a one-year ban on Krüger because the prohibited substance THC had been found in a doping sample he had given . His suspension ran until the end of May 2010, after which Krüger played again for the Dresden Monarchs.

National team

In 2005 he won the World Games with the German national team and was third in the 2007 World Cup.
