André Schaller (* 1973 in Schwedt / Oder ) is a German politician ( CDU ). In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , he was elected to the Brandenburg state parliament via the state list ( list of members of the Brandenburg state parliament (7th electoral period) ).

Life and work

Until 1992, Schaller attended high school and high school in Rüdersdorf near Berlin . After his military service in Fürstenwalde , he studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin (1st state examination). He completed his legal clerkship at the Kammergericht (Berlin) (2nd state examination). From 2002 to 2003, Schaller was a practicing lawyer.

In 2011 he completed a correspondence course in business administration at the University of Applied Sciences Wildau .

Schaller is married and has six children. He is of the Protestant denomination.

Schaller was from 1998 to 2003 community representative of Rüdersdorf. From 2004 he was mayor of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin. He is deputy chairman of the CDU Rüdersdorf. At the beginning of September 2019 Sabine Löser was elected as his successor as mayor.
