André Wieckenberg

André Wieckenberg (born August 22, 1979 in Uelzen ) is a German radio presenter .

From 1997 to 2000 Wieckenberg presented the programs Party Zone , Extrawach and à la carte on Radio ZuSa in Uelzen. After passing the state exam to become a nurse, Wieckenberg began a traineeship at the private broadcaster Energy Hamburg in 2000 and hosted the after-work show there from 2001 to 2003. In 2003 he switched to Berlin radio station 104.6 RTL , where he also worked as a presenter for a year. He then lived in the USA for a year . There he worked as an au pair , took various courses at UC Berkeley and worked for the CBS radio station Alice 97.3 KLLC San Francisco. After his return from the USA he worked for the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk for 7 years. He was mainly employed as a moderator at MDR Sputnik .

André Wieckenberg is currently working as a video journalist for the Berlin radio station Radio B2 and for MDR television.
