Schlager Radio B2 , Das Schlagerradio, is a private radio station broadcasting in Germany via cable and satellite and in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania via VHF ("FM") as well as in Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and can be received in Hessen via digital radio ("DAB +") and via live stream over the Internet. As the successor to Oldiestar , radio B2 went on air on July 27, 2011. It is operated by the dunk media group , whose sole shareholder is Oliver Dunk .

Schlager Radio B2 mainly plays German music, especially from the Schlager area. In terms of content, the 24-hour full program is also journalistic. Current political issues of German and global relevance are also dealt with in the news on the hour and in the midday magazine.

The moderators include Bert Beel , Annemarie Eilfeld , Michael Niekammer , Norm Strächen, Kerstin Suhrbier and Oliver Dunk.

The average hourly reach is 102,000 listeners on working days with a daily reach of 282,000 listeners aged 14 and over. On Sundays, an average of 91,000 people an hour tune in.

The station can be received in Berlin, the surrounding area, as well as in Potsdam, the Barnim district, the south of Oberhavel, in Cottbus and the surrounding area and in the Frankfurt (Oder) / Fürstenwalde area with the regional program Schlager Radio B2 Berlin-Brandenburg via VHF. Schlager Radio B2 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can be received in the Mecklenburg cities of Schwerin, Wismar (since summer 2018) and Rostock, as well as in the two largest cities of Vorpommern, Stralsund and Greifswald.

Digital (DAB +)

Schlager Radio B2 can be received via DAB + in many federal states and regions of Germany, in Berlin and Brandenburg on channel 12D, in Bremen on channel 7D, in Hamburg on channel 11C, in Lübeck on channel 9D, in Saxony on channel 10D, in Hesse on Channel 6A or 12C and in Baden-Württemberg on channel 11B.
