Oliver Dunk

Oliver Dunk (born July 24, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and entrepreneur . He is president and executive board member of the dunk media group, a group of companies that operates radio stations, a broadcast news service and media consultancy.

Live and act

Dunk started at RIAS Berlin in 1978 as a reporter and presenter on children's and youth radio (RIAS Treffpunkt). After a traineeship, he went through the broadcaster Free Berlin (SFB) and the live radio and television editorial team to one of the first private radio stations in West Berlin, Hundert, 6 .

In the 1990s, Oliver Dunk worked as editor-in-chief and presenter at Sat.1 in regional programming, among other things. In 1995 he became editor-in-chief of the Germany report at Sat.1 .

In 2000, Dunk founded the media consulting agency Part of Success, which specializes in public relations for companies, associations and parties. In 2003 he developed the shopping station kaufradio, which was broadcast on the digital radio DAB . In 2005 Oliver Dunk started the private radio station OldieStar Radio on VHF . Since 2011, the follow-up program has been broadcasting with Radio B2 on different frequencies in Berlin and wider Brandenburg and since 2016 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

The dunk media group operates the stations radio B2 , Radio Gold , Star_Sat_Radio and MAXX FM, all four of which are broadcast in Berlin via DAB +. The third company of the dunk media group is the audio news service radio AKTUELL GmbH. The company produces audio news and radio reports on behalf of national, regional and local radio stations. Dunk is also involved in the digital agency nexxoo GmbH and other companies.

In November 2014 it was presented at the smago! Awards with the prize "Radio Germany" for his services to the German Schlager from the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Schlager und Volksmusik eV (ADS).

Oliver Dunk is a co-founder of the Lions Club Berlin Gendarmenmarkt. Since March 2018 he has been deputy chairman of the Take off Award - Association for Education, Training and Human Humanity eV The association awards prizes for voluntary work in Germany every year. In 2019, Dunk was elected chairman of the advisory board for the economics, media and event management course at the BBW Hochschule Berlin.
