Oldie star

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oldiestar (formerly: OldieStar Radio; own spelling: oldiestar * ) was a local radio station that can be received in north-east Berlin and Brandenburg via VHF and in parts of Berlin and Brandenburg on digital medium wave.

The station was licensed in October 2004 by the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (MABB). The radio program offered German and international oldies from the 1960s to 1980s and brought regional information from the region. Oliver Dunk is the managing director . In July 2011, Oldiestar was replaced by Radio B2 and until the end of December 2012 it was only broadcast as web radio. As the successor to the web radio station and also via DAB , Radio Gold has been running since January 2013 .

program

OldieStar Radio started with the claim “Nice times - great hits” with a music mix of international hits from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. At the beginning of 2007 the claim was changed to “The best mix of 60s, 70s and 80s!”, And German-speaking oldies were increasingly included in the program. In December 2007, the proportion of German-language titles in the program was increased to 50 percent, according to the broadcaster.

Since July 1, 2008, Odiestar has been broadcasting with the claim “The most beautiful hits, the best hits for Brandenburg and Berlin”, thereby underlining the musical focus on German music in the program, and the name Oldie Star Radio was changed to Oldiestar * .

The editorial focus was on regional information from Brandenburg and Berlin.

Fixed components in the Oldiestar program were the “Dr. Rock ”, in which Volkmar Kramarz, as a music expert, explained the historical background to musicians, bands, titles, instruments and the general development of pop and rock music.

In the course of the further development of Oldiestar, themed and special programs were increasingly established in the program. For this purpose, there was the themed program “Chefsache - Macher in conversation with Oliver Dunk”, in which the broadcaster Dunk received guests from social life. Other special programs included the daily cultural program “Da capo - Culture and more”, the “Health Service Club”, the themed program “Mein Haus” with information and tips for home builders, or the entertainment programs “Saturday Night Club” and the “MusikBox” for Listener music requests.

After a relaunch on July 27, 2011, OldieStar was reformatted into a journalistic magazine program with daily reports, articles and interviews and started again as radio B2 .
