Andréa Belliger (* 1970 ) is a Swiss social and communication scientist .

Career

Belliger studied theology , philosophy and history at the University of Lucerne , University of Athens and University of Strasbourg . She was co-founder and director of the Institute for Communication and Culture (2000–2006) at the University of Lucerne. In 2006 she became the director of the service department of the University of Teacher Education Central Switzerland , where she is currently Vice-Rector. She is also the director of the Institute for Communication & Leadership (IKF), an independent training and research center in Lucerne. She researches, teaches and advises organizations on questions of trends and changes in social communication behavior and on the background to digital transformation , especially in the areas of business, fintech, education, administration and health. She is a board member in various Swiss companies and works internationally as a reviewer and expert.

In 2015 Belliger was the topic sponsor for "Digital Health" at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
