Andraimon (son of Oxylos)
Andraimon , also Andraimon the Younger , ( Greek Ἀνδραίμων ) is the son of Oxylos and husband of Dryope in Greek mythology . Dryope, the only daughter of Dryops , was previously seduced by Apollon and, after marrying Andraimon, gave birth to Amphissus , the founder of the city of Oite on the Oite Mountains .
In the library of Apollodorus , the relationship between Oxylos and Andraimon is erroneously reversed and Oxylos is declared to be Andraimon's son, which is possibly due to a corrupt spelling of Haimon, the correct patronymic of Oxylos.
