Andrea Andreani (* around 1540 in Mantua ; † after 1610 there) was an Italian publisher and graphic artist specializing in the so-called chiaroscuro woodcut.

Andrea Andreani was a master in tone printing with several plates, as Ugo da Carpi had practiced before him . He delivered some of his works, which he printed in woodcut , in the manner of Ugo da Carpis, in the so-called chiaroscuro . In 1584 he worked in Florence , in 1586 in Siena , most recently perhaps since 1599, certainly from 1602, in Mantua, where he was mentioned for the last time in 1610. The year of his death is unknown, the information from other sources for 1623 in Rome is based on a mix-up with Bernardo Malpizzi, with whom Andreani had worked.
