Andrea Dobrowolski (* 1963 in Munich ) is a German translator and author .

life and work

Andrea Dobrowolski studied in Mainz , Bergen and Birmingham the subjects English Studies , American Studies and Physics . She translated several detective novels, short stories and a volume of poetry from Norwegian. Her own texts are mainly assigned to the genre of poetry and have been published in several anthologies. In 2011 and 2012 she was a member of the Darmstädter Textwerkstatt under Kurt Drawert . She also works as a television editor and lecturer.
