Andrea Ferrara

Andrea Ferrara (born November 11, 1882 in Tursi , † July 1, 1954 in Rome ) was an Italian lawyer.

From November 12, 1947 to November 11, 1952, he was the first President of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Italian Republic . In 1947 he also became head of the cabinet of the Ministry of Justice and head of a commission for the reform of the code of civil procedure. As a legal scholar, his focus was on business law .

On November 29, 1952, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
