Andrea Figallo (born February 11, 1972 in Gorizia ) is an Italian singer and producer. He works as an a cappella singer and choir director and in this role also holds workshops on many musical topics. Between 2013 and April 2016 he sang the bass part in the German a cappella group Wise Guys .

Life

Andrea Figallo started playing the piano at the age of 5. He studied music and drama at the University of Bologna . In 2001 he joined the Flying Pickets . He was a member there until the end of 2012.

Figallo has also founded the studio ensemble The Ghost Files , which he runs together with Erik Bosio, Letizia Poltini and John Kjøller. From June 2012 to 2013 he was the director of the Don Camillo Choir in Munich.

On October 31, 2012 Figallo was introduced as the successor to Ferenc Husta as bass in the Cologne a cappella band Wise Guys. Figallo moved from Italy to Cologne for his new job. Due to his time-consuming engagement with the Wise Guys, he handed over the leadership of the Don Camillo Choir to Matthias Seitz. However, he will remain with the Don Camillo Choir as a coach.

In April 2016 he ended his engagement with the Wise Guys.
