Andrea Gigante
Andrea Gigante or Giganti (born September 18, 1731 in Trapani , † November 4, 1787 in Palermo ) was an Italian architect on the threshold from baroque to classicism . He was a student of Giovanni Biagio Amico . Gigante designed various palaces and churches in Sicily. In Sciacca he built the Chiesa del Carmine, in Palermo he was involved in the architectural design of the Palazzo Aiutamicristo , the Palazzo Bonagia, the Villa Galletti and the Villa Tasca, Palazzo Ventimiglia and the Chiesa di S. Paolo dei Giardinieri.
